Holiday Season Stress!
Hi everyone :)
Well it's that time of the year again! Holiday season!
Not surprisingly many of us find this time of the year extremely stressful.
Well I'd like to share with you some tips on how to reduce that stress.
Happy reading :)
Tips to Avoid Holiday Stress
1) Don’t try to do too much - one person can only do so much in a certain time with given financial resources.
2) If you are feeling lonely, join others in volunteering to do something for those in need. You will find company and feel good about yourself by helping others.
3) Continue your exercise program, get plenty of rest and eat healthful foods. If you have children, make sure they do the same. You will be happier, more energetic and better prepared to take on stressful holiday activities such as shopping, running extra errands and entertaining.
4) Try not to have too many expectations for the holiday season. Each holiday is different and you can enjoy each in its own way.
5) Don’t be afraid to do less than you planned or less than you did last year. The stress caused by trying to do these things can ruin the holidays for yourself and the people around you.
6) Don’t drink too much alcohol. Excessive drinking will not help you deal with unhealthy stress.
7) Make time in the day for yourself. Give yourself room to enjoy a relaxing activity such as taking a warm bath, listening to music, taking a walk, or even taking some deep breaths. Other relaxation methods include meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and visualization. Innerpics programs can help with this, just once a day sit back and relax. Even simply listening to an Innerpics program with your eyes closed can work wonders!
Pick activities that you find relaxing and try to do something every day to help you unwind.
8) Try to be more forgiving and tolerant. Many people around you may be feeling just as pressured as you or even more so. Try to be understanding of other people’s mistakes or carelessness. Your kindness will help both you and others feel less stressed.
9) Don’t forget to enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday!
Happy holiday season Innerpics fans! Love and happiness to you all :)
Warmest Regards

Be Happy :)
Be Happy :)
Sometimes you can’t seem to identify a problem, or there are just too many to overcome. In these cases, I advice you to focus more on being happy than anything else. This have to come first, as you will get a whole new outlook when you really feel alive. So follow these 12 tips, and you’ll be up again in no time.- Understand that it’s okay to feel sad. Don’t ignore it, just don’t let the feeling take over you.
- Once you can do that, start focusing on what makes you happy. Do what you enjoy, go see a movie, walk the dog, whatever. And whenever the bad feelings start popping up, acknowledge them, clear your mind, and think about something else. Don’t ever think negative thoughts for more than a few seconds.
- Lists can help you. Write down some of the things that you like to do, and hang them up on your fridge. Do at least one of these things every day. Look forward to it, and enjoy it while you do it.
- Use fantastic words. If someone asks you how your day was, and you answer with a “fine”, that fine is going to define your day. If you instead tell him that you had a marvelous, amazing or incredible day, that is what your day was or is going to be. Keep this in mind!
- Think in opportunities. Remember that every failure is one step closer to success.
- Think about what you really want to do. Maybe this is a golden opportunity to try a new challenge or new direction in your life. If you really always wanted to be a stock broker, a teacher or a marketing guy, check out what you need to do or learn to get there. Enroll at the university, go to evening classes, seek out professionals in the industry. Whatever it takes, your only limitation is your imagination.
- Look good. While you feel a little down and depressed, remember to take good care of yourself. It’s much easier to feel sorry for that sad bum in the mirror, than it is to feel the same way about a well groomed, and well dressed young man.
- Get out. You have probably heard this hundreds of times before, but a little exercise and some fresh air can do wonders for your mood. Be open and positive, and a trip to the park can be amazingly beautiful. Look at the birds in the trees, the couples walking around having a good time.
- Surround yourself with happy people. Don’t hang around negative types, sooner or later their mood will affect you. Sad but true.
- Music is medicine for the soul. We all have a favorite band or song, so don’t be afraid to play it! Play it loud, dance around, sing along. Suddenly the burdens on your shoulders seem to lighten a little. Play another wonderful song, and soon they will be far away.
- Smile. Smiling at yourself or to other people is an instant happiness booster. You could say that you trick the body to think that you are happy, and naturally, you’ll also become happy.
- Laugh. Just like smiling, laughing is tricking the body and mind to think that you are happier than you are. So put on your favorite show, and laugh – even if it’s not funny.
Keep smiling Innerpics friends :)

Get Toxicity Out of Your Life

Today I want to share with you an insightful blog written by a new friend of mine who also works in the Personal Development / Self Improvement industry.
His name is Iain Forrest and his website is http://redefineeverything.com/
It reads....
We all have toxic people in our lives.
You know the ones who are always complaining or being negative, abusive or just plain not fun to be around.
One of the key things to learn is that this is a result of their reactions to the experiences in their lives and has nothing to do with you. If you start to feel like you are responsible for why they feel bad then you are taking responsibility away from them.
The important thing is to not respond with negativity or be drawn into their negativity ways. You need to approach it with a sense of optimism and happiness. Though, this can seem to be harder done than said sometimes.
I heard a fantastic little parable the other day which is what has led me to write this article. It goes like this.
There was this farmer living out in the middle of the country side. He lived a pretty simple life but enjoyed his day to day tasks and was satisfied with his life.
One day he went to the well near his house to get up some water to do some cooking. He noticed when the bucket got to the top that the water putrid and obviously toxic. So he knew that he couldn’t drink the water.
After a little thought he figured that he had 2 choices that he could make.
- Using a shovel, he could fill the well up with dirt and seal it off. Then go about digging a new well, in a new place, that would have pure water in it. He knew that this would involve a lot of hard work and it seemed like a sacrifice of a previously good well that he had spent a lot of time making in the first place.
- His other option was to go down to the river every day and bring up a bucket or two of pure water. He could then add this to the well and over time the water in the well would become diluted and be able to be drunk again. Again this would take a lot of hard work and dedication but would mean that he could keep the well that was close to his home.
The one thing he definitely knew was that no matter which option he chose he could NOT drink the water from the well.
You might have people in your life that are like the toxic water. They bring you down and by drinking from their negativity you start to feel sick and lose sight of your own dreams, ambition and the happiness that is in your life.
So you have a choice to make.
You either close of the relationship, which might seem like a really hard thing to do. But if you don’t think that there is any way to rectify the situation and bring the negative relationship back into a positive one, then this is what you must do.
Or you could bring a little pure water every day. You give a little happiness and positive energy into that person’s life every time that you see them. You always give to them. Then with effort and over time that person’s life will start to brighten and you will find your efforts rewarded with a bright new positive relationship.
Just remember that whatever you do.
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER.
Don’t respond to their anger or negativity; don’t be drawn into their negative world. It will only make you sick and then you’ll both be stuck.
Have an awesome day INNERPICS followers :) I value every single one of you :)
Warmest spring regards
Paul :)

Attitude for Gratitude
Hi beautiful friends and family :)WOW....we all have a lot going on in our lives and right now that seem to be causing a hang of a lot of stress, and there seems to be a lot more of it than usual. Births, deaths, sickness, family issues, relationship issues, marriage issues, employment, money (or lack of) etc etc etc.
Well I want you all to know..none of us are alone!
We ALL have things going on and that's life!
The difference is how we deal with it.
I'm not going to bleat on about the dos and don'ts, but I will share with you a couple techniques I personally use to help shift my emotions (besides using the innerpics programs) :)
The first thing I do is for 2 minutes once a day I close my eyes and be in the now. I dont think of the past nor the future, I focus on the now. I focus on all the sensory triggers around me at that minute. Its hard to explain and not always easy to do at first, but its like letting everything go and just feel the sensation of being. Once you are in the 'now', be grateful for it and actually feel the gratitude.
My favorite emotion shifter is to play the grateful game with my daughter. I lay with her at night right before she goes to sleep and we each have to list 5 things we are grateful for. This can be fun and when we do this she usually goes to sleep with a smile on her face, which makes me happy plus I am feeling the gratitude for my list :)
The attitude for gratitude. Its a powerful thing, and you dont need to just take my word for it, its written into almost every religion and is promoted and praised by many great teachers of the past and present :)
If you struggle with gratitude or find it hard to find things to be grateful for, feel free to contact me and I will try to help you :)
Have an awesome day!
Paul :)

How do you watch yours?

I have been bombarded by the flickering, relaxed by the slower imagery, waiting eagerly for the next affirmation to pop up ... trying to find the best way to relax into an Innerpics' session.
Without a doubt, it is best when I am able to watch it in an almost meditative state; in these cases it leaves me energised, enthused and incredibly present and aware.
It is not always that easy to focus on nothing though; not for me anyway, and especially when there is so much stuff that I could focus on. To me, Paul hit the nail on the head when he told me how he focused on the music,
"You find yourself dreaming at the screen." he said.
So I tried it. And I liked it. I adopted it as my own method too; I find it reliably more effective ;)

There's no Limit!

'The potential of you'. Whatever that means. We aim to teach our children that they can be and do whatever they wish in this World. As grownups, however, we seem to forget that this advice is still absolutely valid.
You are remarkable. You can achieve anything that you wish. If you can focus upon your dreams, there really is NO limit to where they may take you. And this is absolutely true for every single one of us.
So; why are so many of us stuck in the same-old, same-old mundane, everyday routines - feeling disgruntled and unfulfilled.
Any positive, driven person will tell you that there is always more out there. There is always further to push that envelope; you can and will always change, and in every changing moment there are no limits to the places you may go.
Only the limits we impose upon ourselves. These limits hold us in our old habitual realities, as we define ourselves by saying, "I could never do that", "things like that never happen to me"
Oh really? Whyever not? Perhaps because you affirm and reaffirm it to yourself day after day. There will never be a better time to change tactics.

What does 'Wealth' mean to you?
Money, fast cars, posh hotels, fancy restaurants, exotic holidays ... or are you more into a worry-free genuine life where you get to happily be exactly who you are - the perfect combination of health, happiness and Love is to many the ultimate definition of Wealth.

So often we get caught up in the material things ... and that is certainly what much of the Innerpics' program 'Wealth' is all about. But underlying the visuals of material richness is a key lesson to many of us in this World today.
The more we revolve our lives around money, materialism and the incessant demands attached to it - we forget the true richness of life. The pure beauty that exists when we are free from seeking more of something.
In 'Wealth' we aim to aid you in the material need for more; and many of us are certainly in situations where more would be a welcome relief (myself included). However, accompanying affirmations such as 'I am Wealthy' and 'Money flows to me' are those that hold the key to true Wealth. 'I love and accept myself'; 'I am Free'. Combine the two approaches and Wealth takes on a new meaning. A place where you are absolutely free from subconscious insecurities that may have prevented you from enjoying your new-found material Wealth.
In my opinion, true Wealth comes only when we are living the very life we choose; Freedom from all that is outside of our individual control.

Gratitude

Being grateful for what we do have versus being resentful for what's missing ...
It's a no-brainer really; who actually wants to feel jealous / angry / bitter / resentful / twisted ... ? Not I; No, siree ... but when I do delve down there there is always this strange, unexplainable part of me that enjoys the chance to wallow, complain and above all justify my misgivings.
Why?
I don't know, but it's sure as hell annoying! My best navigational tactic for rising above the whirlpool of despair is to take it back a notch. Stop. Breathe. And remember the simple things.
Thankyou for this breath. Thankyou for this body. Thankyou for this water. Thankyou for this food. Thankyou for this roof above my head. Thankyou for this ground beneath my feet ...
The more I adopt and embrace this concept of gratitude, the less I find myself swirling in the darkness. And so, I am also thankful for that ;)

Binaural beats
According to Wikipedia,
And a whole lot more besides. Follow the link to read all about the science.
Put simply though, binaural beats are two individual notes (only slightly different) played simultaneously; one to each ear (the reason headphones are recommended when viewing Innerpics' products). We detect only one tone, the action of which plays its part in joining pathways between the two hemispheres (ie. right and left) of the brain. Different frequencies reward us with different benefits - so they may induce feelings likened to deep meditation, relaxation and sleep at the lower ranges and encourage concentration, focus and greater clarity at the higher ranges.
When combined with the positive imagery and text plus other frequencies woven into the audio tracks, the binaural beats featured in Innerpics' programs work powerfully to reaffirm the positive messages being taken aboard. The reward is greater clarity and focus towards achieving the life you long for.

The power of positivity
When we first heard about the idea of positive affirmations, we wrote them with a whiteboard pen on our fridge. It is amazing how just a glance in the direction of the fridge could improve my mood - it sounds unlikely, but I witnessed it many times.

Making dinner, for example, after a full-on day and with kids under my feet could be (and very often is) a fairly stressful experience. What a godsend it was to just look at the fridge - and even better, take a moment to read through the affirmations. The stress would dissolve - and even though it was just one short moment, the dinner-making experience transformed.
There is a lot you can read about these wonderful things, and an endless number of affirmations you could use. One thing that my involvement with Innerpics has taught me is that affirmations can take many forms - in fact, every part of our day is actually an affirmation. When we fill our days with positive images, words and activities, we feel good. And the same works backwards too. But that's not what we're in to.
